That is a lot of greeting. Paul made a lot of friends here, I wish there was something written about their lives too. This was a fun book and a hard one too. Paul is like the roller coaster of grace and works. There's a line in one of my favorite songs, "Keep the earth below my feet, from my sweat my blood runs weak. Let me learn from where I have been, keep my eyes to serve, my hands to learn." These words resonated as I read this book. Its so easy to over analyze, but sometimes you just need to keep your focus on your relationship with God, do what he tells you do. Keep serving, keep learning. Know that you won't always get it right, but that through the process of obedience you'll grow. Romans for me had a lot of tall orders, a lot of calls to action, and a lot of rebuking. Often in the same chapters would be a counter argument for grace, for the sacrifice of Christ absolving us of our never ending weakness to the flesh and unchangeable destiny to be failures in our own power. What a book. Great reading it with you guys and thanks for your patience with me as I struggle to understand.
