Awesome to have you here man and great to meet you at the retreat. While posting is optional, I think there's a lot of benefit in doing so and would encourage it. The first few times you might feel some pressure to craft a masterpiece but you can just write what you thought. Sometimes I realize I have no thoughts and usually it means I was daydreaming when I read it (which happens like 50% of the time). So I have to read it again more intentionally or try a different translation which is also a good challenge. Also if you don't have another motivation or enough discipline for reading the Bible daily, which I didn't until somewhat recently, I've found making a commitment to following this makes it pretty easy, and my post at the end of the day is my personal accountability. And ALSO, Tony will be gone for a month so we need another regular poster to keep things interesting. And I'm not telling you all this because its my brainchild or anything. I jumped into it already started and it's been great for me and feel like I've gained an incredible resource through Greg, Tony G, Tony C., Kevin E., Kevin A., Doug none of whom I knew before starting this and now I feel as though we have a spiritual connection and having them just kind of watching and most likely praying for me as I struggle through various spiritual issues is a pretty cool deal. Also if you are interested at all in joining us on Tuesday nights just shoot me an email (matt@crittercabana.com) and we'll get you in the loop as that starts up this fall.
