Sometimes we start with a lot and lose it other times we don't have much. Important to understand life is always in flux and find peace where you are at! This was a good reminder for me today.

I read they had very little spiritual knowledge. Not even the Torah. Just oral tradition. I know there are non-genesis accounts of Adam and Eve that I read in college (Epic of Gilgamesh and others) that were written prior to Genesis so I think there had to be some knowledge of an enemy, however is power beyond temptation I doubt was known. Interesting question though.

Vs 16-23 sound a lot like Job cursing God. I can't say I blame him. I guess even the most righteous man in the world can crack.
