Those moments are great and they really take us by surprise don't they. Gotta keep our eyes and minds attentive. I struggle with this, my wife calls my cell phone my security blanket... not good.

4 And even if it be true that I have erred, my error remains with myself. This is certainly not our first instinct when we think someone is in the wrong with God. An interesting balance with the approach to a "brother in sin" set out in the New Testament. Either approach, my personal experience says humility and genuine interest in the other person is key. If you are missing either it often has very negative consequences. Like Job's friends, sometimes best to keep your head out and let only the closest friend or mentor make the approach.

You've been prayed for. Job is maybe an applicable book to the situation. Being a good friend and debating things of which we can't always explain or know 100%.

25 For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth. 26 And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God, 27 whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. My heart faints within me! These verses took me by surprise. There is very little talk of heaven in the old testament. Here's an interesting reference but more interesting is the capitalized Redeemer in one of the oldest chapters of the Bible before there was even scripture. According to some quick research I did Job had no idea he was speaking of Christ, but makes a lot of sense in light of the rest of the Bible and cool to see one of the first mentions. I also read in that quick little study that this is a turning point for Job as he starts to look at his suffering in light of eternity instead of his immediate pain. And that the rest of the book he has a much more peaceful disposition as a result. Definitely a lesson to be learned in that.
