I touched on this on yesterday's blog just now. But looking at Jesus' words to go and sin no more to me don't imply that sinning will result in God's wrath. Sin is bad for many different reasons, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that it is no longer something that causes us damnation. So why then would he tell the women to sin no more? I don't think because if she sinned again it would mean God would have her cut down with a sword, like in Exodus. It would be because destroy her life and limit the potential of her relationship with her father.

This is coolest chapter in Exodus so far for sure. I posted just earlier tonight about how God wasn't very personal with the Israelites but I might have to retract that. Moses and Joshua impress God somehow, then proceed to talk God into showing them a physical manifestion of himself. Doesn't get much more personal than that.

Something tells me it takes a fine understanding of the Hebrew language to really understand everything happening here. Certainly jealous of Moses who had probably the relationship most similar to the relationships we can relate to as humans. I know that many people have a much closer relationship with God than I do, who hear things definitively from Him. Hard for me sometimes I feel like I'm constantly being tested and maybe its my lot in life to never fully and definitively feel God's voice or presence here on earth.
