There had to have been a lot of new laws and ways of doing things. Like you said Tony God of order. So out of all of it. The establishment of a new order directed by God... all we have us that there were cities of refuge. Maybe God didn't want us to know his political secrets to success. Just interesting this one made it and had a whole chapter to endure for thousands of years.

Hey guys. Back from a long trip with the family in eastern Oregon. Sorta interesting that they made a sanctuary City rather than just say "no revenge killing". Seems either way the person is at risk to people who want to defy the law. I was also thinking about the fact that you put a whole bunch of accidental killers in one spot together. Maybe they had a support group? Also kind of curious how you accidentally kill someone back then. No firearms to accidentally go off. No cars to accidentally plow into someone. Yet it happened enough I suppose to warrant a full chapter or more in the Bible and be part of their laws.
