No substantive comments on this. It made me ponder the differences between God's relationship with the Jews and his relationship with us. As I understand there is still some delineation. Can we apply promises from in the Old Testament for the Jews to ourselves today? As I've researched various chapters throughout the OT as we've been reading I've ran into Jewish (or strangely enough even Islamic) interpretations of the same scriptures that had a totally different bent. Is this by design? Is the meaning relative to whether you are Jewish or Gentile? Or is it arrogant of us gentiles to presume we have a superior understanding of these ancient scriptures? Hmm, just pondering.

A prayer for peace in Jerusalem but I'm not sure they are there yet.
