Am I understanding vs 1-14 that Paul is suggesting that we should make our living by the gospel in the financial sense? Ive never heard that before but that's what it seems like he's saying. Most of this chapter I'll be honest was a little confusing. I think I need a good solid study vs a light reading.

Doug and Rob,
This makes a lot more sense to me know. As I was reading I was applying to myself when he said 14 In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel. I was thinking, okay, I am supposed to be proclaiming the gospel, I guess I need to make my living at it. But reading it through this different lens.
