What struck me as I read is how in Jesus looked at the heart more than deeds. The woman who annoints him instead of giving to the poor. Every one else is judging her but Jesus looks at her intention. Again with Peter jesus predicts his denials but seems to appreciate his zeal. That gives me hope and comfort to know that God sees that my spirit is willing even when my flesh is weak.
