I'm intrigued by the mini lesson in fasting. At first I was taken aback but then I thought about it and our own desires can certainly line up with God's. I guess where you get into trouble is fasting for something you know is not God's desire? But that gets a little weird, that would be like fasting in prayer for... I'm not really sure as I'm struggling to come up with an answer that doesn't sound ludicrous. I guess maybe financial blessing when you are already blessed. Or maybe fasting and telling all your friends just so you seem more spiritual.

6 And when you eat and when you drink, do you not eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves? It's a strange concept to me to eat or drink for the Lord. Cant say I'm not altogether sure what that would entail even after pondering it for a while.
