Its heads give judgment for a bribe; its priests teach for a price; its prophets practice divination for money; yet they lean on the on the Lord and say..." Strong judgment for a tough thing to do. A lot of our spiritual leaders are paid. I went to a church for a while here in newberg that met at the cs Lewis school. They had no paid staff which I always thought was pretty cool. I thought the pastor had great insights being a working man Monday through Friday at intel. But practically I'm not sure it worked as the church eventually disbanded. I hear stories in books about people, usually missionaries who truly leaned on the Lord financially each day. Is this a realistic goal for the everyday joe?

This seemed liked maybe a war of the prophets was happening. Micah turned out to be true. Ideas still war today. Lord help me be on the side of truth.
