I was thinking a bit about this too but from a little different perspective. This is simply a lot of work and a lot of resources every time they sin. I know that I can barely get an employee to perform basic tasks when they are getting paid. The thought of all of Israel coordinating these offerings and ceremonies whenever a single person sins is mind boggling to me. And how long did this happen? Multiple generations I presume or longer. We're they still doing this when Jesus came? I cant think of any instance in the gospels where jesus or the disciples were parr of anything like this.

What makes someone or something Holy?

Had an image of Moses scrawling all this down while God was dictating. And here we are thousands of years later reading it. That's a miracle.
