I want real sure about this psalm so I read a commentary. Found this interesting so I'll share. It is the authors desire that God may be praised from the heavens, that thence a praising frame may be transmitted to this world in which we live, that while we are so cold, and low, and flat, in praising God, there are those above who are doing it in a better manner, and that while we are so often interrupted in this work they rest not day nor night from it. How can I praise better and more continuously. How bad a sign is it that I even have to ask that question. Doesn't seem like it should be something I have to work at doing like exercise... But why isn't it more natural?
