Sometimes we are our own worst enemy And I'm grateful to live in a time when that is actually true. I can't think of any enemies I have. That being said I can still relate to the Psalm and the feeling of oppression from forces outside your control. I can attest that crying out for deliverance maybe with a bit of vengeance mixed in does make it seem a little better.

David doesn't need to seek justice I don't think. It's part of God's character and is inevitable. Singing a song about it probably did make him feel a little better though.
