I don't think I've read or heard this story since I was a kid, which is a little weird because it doesn't quite seem like a kid appropriate story. It's pretty crazy. So crazy that I had to ask myself why God does such crazy things. At the beginning of the story its stated that this was all God's design. What is God's goal? To bring as many people as possible over the course of history to love and worship him?

Tore it like one would a young goat. A strange analogy. Who is tearing up young goats. That sounds tough too.

Samson was clearly a strong guy. Is this why he makes a wager on a riddle? To prove he was smart too? Pride gets us into trouble.
