The last few verses where Jeremiah is praying were interesting. Jeremiah gets a little passionate asking God to bring down his wrath. I guess God wants to hear whats on our minds good or bad though a simple "your will be done", might suffice in most circumstances.

O Lord , I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. O Lord , correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing. Got a new phone and my Bible app was set to kjv. Thought I'd try it out for a bit. Gives things a little more gravitas. I liked these verses. It takes courage to ask God for correction. I've got a God help me prayer going that keeps getting longer. Now I must add help in building courage to seek and accept God's correcting and discipline.

I love that movie. First movie or TV show my firstborn ever watched. As new parents we thought we would never let our kids watch anything. Then he got real sick for the first time and I remember just feeling so bad he didn't want to do anything except lie around looking depressed so I caved and we watched that movie. I Definitely shed a few tears. Funny memory.
