I have a very similar prayer to this on a regular basis. I know he's listening, know he cares, but lack the faith to know he'll fix it.

30 I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving. 31 This will please the Lord more than an ox or a bull with horns and hoofs
This was interesting. I was just thinking this morning in worship that maybe praise was sometimes more self serving than for God. But this has me thin in n that if we're into it so is God that much more.
