Everything you needed to know about money or food is right here. On another note. I've been wondering about all the comparisons about being a fool and how you shouldn't be a fool. But does anyone who is a fool know they are a fool? For example. "6 In everything the prudent acts with knowledge, but a fool flaunts his folly."

The discipline I've been thinking are those little things adding up over time. Well, in terms of parenting I think its probably nipping things in the butt early, not letting problems getting out of control. Paying attention and devoting the emotional energy to observe and ponder your kids behavior and be diligent about correction. I find my kids do well with regular correction but if they get surprised at all things can blow up out of control. Like if they've been doing some negative behavior say doing a poor job on a chore. Maybe I let it go the first couple times either because I don't feel like dealing with it or maybe I'm waiting to see if its a pattern... Then I take a corrective action and because they've gotten used to getting away with it they are surprised and lash back or respond poorly.

4 The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied. I kinda wonder if Solomon is of the work hard/play hard philosophy. He certainly enjoys life as we know from his Songs. But he's also a big fan of hard work.
