Most things particularly the ones that stress us out are beyond our control. Casting our burdens, (v22) is always something we can do for a little sustenance.

Casting our burdens on the Lord and he will sustain us. Its a cool concept but often hard in practice. What is casting a burden? When I was a kid where I lived in Santa Fe there was this annual party called Zozobra where everybody wrote a burden on a piece of paper and then it was burned in this giant statue. There was many a debate on whether a christian should partake in this festivity but the concept may have some truth when given to the Lord instead of Zozobra. Would attaching a burden on a piece of paper give it more substance and help us release it by engaging our body and mind together?
