7 I bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. This whole chapter was pretty cool, but one thing no one mentioned that I thought was interesting was the second half of verse 7. Is that an inference to receiving instruction in the form of dreams? It also made me wonder if they had the Holy Spirit or if they just had to trust the prophets to tell them to truth?

This Psalm seems to be about there confidence in life we can have when we are in a close and healthy relationship with God. Taking refuge in him and hearing his counsel. I'm not in that place very often but it's sure a good goal.
