This book has really been speaking to me, as well as the comments. I want peace, and I think the message in ecclesiastes is like Rob mentioned a matter of merging or tuning your every day life, good times and bad, with your relationship with yahweh.

8 Behold, what I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his lot.
Contentment with your lot and finding peace each day. A different mindset than we grow up with in America. So hard to fight the culture.
