A couple things. A." You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself." Kind of interesting language here. Certainly bearing on eagles wings is metaphoric but also implies some sense of geography which I don't usually associate with God... that is being in a place at a time. But throughout the chapter there is that theme with God being present on the mountain. B. Seems like for the people it must have been tempting to go to the cloud as it would be win-win. Either God is real and he really has chosen you and you'll die and spend eternity with him and abandon your hard life in the wilderness for streets of gold. Or it's some sort of wizardry by Moses and you get a sneak peak at his magic show. Just a random thought. C. There is a lot of consecrating things back then. What's the significance?

Meeting God (V17) ... Good called them to meet Him. He didn't say much to them but just gave them a peek at his glory. I think it must have b been a be still and know kind of moment. I should be doing that more often.
